Design of craft beer cans was the challenge of this project. Barra Sul brewery produces high quality craft beers in Balneário Camboriú – SC, southern Brazil. Barra Sul, the name brand of the beer, comes from the name of the neighborhood located at the southern end of the Balneário Camboriú promenade, where the brewery is located. The products are intended to be enjoyed with friends or for tourists to take home as souvenirs. For the design of the craft beer labels, we created a style with a young and relaxed air. The labels use black as the predominant color, combined with vibrant and intense colors associated with each type of beer. We have drawn an illustration of the Barra Sul neighborhood’s waterfront landscape with its characteristic cable car. Each label is identified with the name of the beer formed by a young, modern and cheerful logo. At the same time, we improved the Barra Sul brand logo and adjusted its typography design. This way we managed to improve legibility and increase its visual impact and recall. The design of craft beer labels professionally done enhances sales, as it creates a greater identification of your audience with the brand and products. In this way, recall is generated, and the brand is uniquely positioned.
