The packaging design for body gel Erosmania presented a great challenge. How exactly does one determine the ideal communication for a cosmetic brand with an erotic appeal?
Erosmania’s products target sex shops, a fast growing market in Brazil. Therefore, the company desired to customize some product lines.
After conducting market research to evaluate the standard consumer profile, business competitors and erotic products trends, we created some important guidelines for the project. The relevant criteria for creating packaging design for body gel Erosmania should be: discretion, sensuality, fun, beauty, elegance and gender.
Each body gel received a decorative pattern and metalized colour palette adequate to transmit the sensation delivered by the product. The Ice Fire Gel package, for example, was created to transmit heating and cooling sensations, the product’s main properties.
We also created the packaging design for the Love Oil massage line and Eros Kiss lip gel line. Oils with ylang-ylang, strawberry with champagne, and clove and cinnamon aroma, are packaged in sensual boxes stamped with couples in different duotones for each aroma.
